Yes. Vanguard Events & Entertainment is fully insured and carries $30 million Public Liability Insurance, meeting the requirements of the vast majority of venues across Australia. For your convenience, we can provide our Certificate of Currency directly to your venue and liaise with their team to ensure all insurance requirements are met. In addition to our insurance coverage, we use professional-grade equipment, maintain backup systems where possible, and follow established event procedures to ensure your event runs safely and smoothly.

Your event will be performed by one of Vanguard Events & Entertainment's experienced DJs, MCs, photographers, videographers, or event professionals, depending on the services you have booked. All members of our team are carefully selected, professionally presented, fully briefed on your event requirements, and experienced in delivering weddings, corporate functions, and private celebrations. Where possible, we will confirm your assigned team member(s) prior to your event. Regardless of who is performing on the day, you can expect the same high standards, professionalism, and attention to detail that Vanguard Events & Entertainment is known for.

Our professional DJ packages start from $1,200, with customised packages available for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and larger productions requiring additional sound, lighting, MC services, or special effects. We also offer off-peak pricing for selected dates, including certain weekdays, Sundays, and non-peak seasons. If your event date is flexible, we may be able to provide a reduced rate while still delivering the same professional service and experience. Every event is unique, so we provide personalised quotes tailored to your requirements, ensuring you only pay for the services you need.

Our packages are designed to be all-inclusive, with everything you need for a seamless entertainment experience. Depending on your selected package, pricing typically includes event planning and consultations, setup and pack-down, professional DJ services, a premium DJ booth, wireless microphone, professional sound system (speakers and subwoofers), standard dance floor lighting, and a haze machine where venue regulations permit.

Any additional costs, such as travel, extended hours, or special equipment, will be clearly outlined in your quote.

A 50% booking fee is required to secure your event date, with the remaining balance due prior to your event. Once your booking fee is received, your date is exclusively reserved for you and removed from our availability calendar. As we only accept a limited number of events each year, we are unable to offer that date to other clients once it has been secured. Your booking fee also covers the initial planning, administration, consultations, venue coordination, event preparation, and resources invested long before your event takes place. For your peace of mind, Vanguard Events & Entertainment is a registered Australian business, fully insured with $30 million public liability cover, and trusted by hundreds of clients across South East Queensland. We provide a formal booking confirmation, written agreement, tax invoice, and clear communication throughout the planning process, so you can book with confidence knowing your event is in safe hands.

The remaining balance is due 30 business days prior to your event.

We offer flexible booking options ranging from a few hours through to full-day coverage for weddings, corporate events, and private functions. Our minimum booking duration is 4 hours, ensuring we have sufficient time to create the right atmosphere, deliver a professional experience, and keep your event running smoothly from start to finish. Where availability permits, yes. Additional hours are charged at our standard extension rate.

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for weddings and peak event dates. Many of our most popular dates are secured 12–18 months in advance, especially during the spring and autumn wedding seasons. Corporate events and private parties are often booked several months ahead, while some dates may still be available at shorter notice. Because we accept a limited number of events each week to maintain our high level of service, availability can be limited. If you have a specific date in mind, we recommend getting in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. A 50% booking fee is required to secure your date and remove it from our availability calendar.

To make the process completely stress-free, we liaise directly with your venue and provide them with a venue consultation form to gather any information we need, including bump-in access, setup locations, sound restrictions, and venue-specific requirements. You don't need to worry about a thing—we'll handle all communication and coordination to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.

Our systems are designed to ensure your guests can clearly hear every important moment, whether it's a wedding ceremony, keynote presentation, award announcement, or speech. We can supply professional speakers, wireless microphones, handheld microphones, and dedicated audio systems for separate event spaces such as ceremonies, cocktail hours, and reception areas. Please note that while we can provide audio support for presentations and speeches, we do not operate or manage client-provided slideshows, videos, laptops, projectors, or presentation content. Any presentation materials must be managed by the client, venue, or a dedicated AV provider. Our team will liaise directly with your venue and event organisers to ensure all audio requirements are planned in advance, allowing everything to run smoothly and professionally on the day.
